Waukon, Ia., Oct. 16 - funeral services for William Wurtzel were held at the Old East Paint Creek church Monday afternoon, Rev. A.P. Leas officiating. Mr. Wurtzel died at the home of his son, Henry, in Center township, Friday. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gus Dee, of Waukon, and two sons, William, La Crosse, and Henry. The casket bearers were Anton Roldson, Herman Scheimden, Fred Steiber, John Ellefson, George Olson and John Roldson.
