On March 1, 1910 he was married to Miss Nina May Dresser of Postville, Iowa who survives him. He has no other near relatives.

Prior to 1909 Mr.McKeon was located in Clermont and Ossian as a watchmaker. While at Ossian he came to Postville one day a week to give violin lessons and it was while thus engaged, he met his future wife.
