Lansing, Ia., Feb. 1 - Funeral services for Mrs. John Schafer, whose death occurred in Minneapolis, were held here Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. Kurt Schalk conducting. Burial was made in the Lansing Ridge cemetery near Church.

Lansing, Ia., Feb 5 - Funeral services for Mrs. John Schafer, whose death took place at her home in Constance, Minn., on Monday, were held on Friday at the German Presbyterian church in Lansing, the Rev. Kurt Schalk conducting the services, after which burial was made in the Lansing Ridge cemetery.

Mrs. Schafer, whose maiden name was Miss Barbara Glaus, was born at the family home near Church, Ia., on March 28, 1873, being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Glans (sic).

On June 8, 1904, she was married to John P. Schafer. They resided in Minneapolis for eight years, then moving to Constance, Minn., where they have since resided.

Surviving are her husband, one sister, Miss Mary Glaus, Constance; two brothers, John, Stockholm, Wis., and Herman, Kelleher, Wis.; her stepmother, Mrs. Wilhelmina Glaus, Lansing; two half-sisters, Mrs. Louise Kohlstad, Lansing and Mrs. Amelia Amundson, Decoah; and one half-brother, Charles Glaus, Lafayette township.
