Waukon- Erma V. Rumph, 70, died Saturday at Good Samaritan Center.

Surviving are two brothers, Oscar Rumph of Waterloo and Wilbur Wilson of Rochester, N.Y.; and two sisters, Ethel Sarries of Newport Richey, Fla., and Edith Sadler of Clifton Springs, N.Y.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Martin's, where friends may call after 3 p.m. today. Burial: Oakland Cemetery.

Erma Virginia Wilson Rumph
b. 30 June 1914 in New York
d. 15 June 1985 Waukon, Iowa

Erma was an Orphan Train Child who was brought to Allamakee County and adopted by John Calvin Rumph and Edna M. (Beebe) Rumph. They lived on a farm near Rossville, Iowa. John and Edna Rumph also adopted another Orphan Train child, Oscar C. Bencke Rumph who was born March 5, 1907 in Brooklyn New York. Oscar died December 29, 1986 at Waterloo, Iowa.
