Harpers Ferry- Esther Valley, 76, of Prairie du Chien, Wis., formerly of Harpers Ferry, died Tuesday at Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.

Surviving are a daughter, Judy Wemmer of Granite Rock, Wis.; a son, Steven of Prairie du Chien; a sister, Mrs. Ed Sawvell of Wilton; a brother, Gephard Meskimen of Coin; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Burial: Church Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at St. Ann's Annex, where a Scripture wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Hanson's of Waukon in charge.
