DURNO, LUKENBILL, TULLER

Postville, Ia. - Funeral services for William E. Durno, 77, who died suddenly Friday morning in Chicago, where he had gone for a visit, were held at the Schutte funeral home Monday. The Rev. Lehr H. Newhouse, pastor of the Community Presbyterian church, officiated. Services were also held by the Masonic lodge. Interment was in the Postville cemetery.

Mr. Durno was born Feb. 3, 1867, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Durno, Henderson Prairie township pioneers. His boyhood was spent on the home farm, but later he became a barber, which trade he followed until a few years ago.

He was married to Elizabeth Lukenbill, at Ossian, Ia., on Feb. 9, 1898.

He is survived by a sister, Josephine Durno, Postville; a nephew, Ralph W. Tuller, Des Moines, Ia. and a grandnephew, Ralph W. Tuller, Dayton, Ohio.
