Mrs. Veronica A. Scheele, 73, of 348 Valeria St., formerly of the Lansing (Iowa) area, died at 12:30 a.m. sunday at St. Joseph's Unit of Mercy Health Center.

Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. Monday at Behr's. The remains will be transferred to the New Albin (Iowa) Funeral Chapel, where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may call at the chapel from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the New Albin Cemetery.

The former Veronica A. Hagen was born in la Crosse, Wis.

Her husband, Wilhelm F., died Nov. 30, 1971.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lorna D. Meyer and a son, Lloyd G., both of Dubuque; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Hagen of New Albin.
