Waukon, Ia. - Waukon relatives Wednesday received word of the death of William Stone, 46, at Astoria, Ore., where he had been employed in the ship yards for some time.

Mr. Stone was born here and lived here until a few years ago. He was a veteran of World War I.

A brother, Herschel, lives in Waukon, as do several other relatives. Another brother, Delbert, is serving overseas.
