New Albin, Ia. - The funeral of Dr. Robert H. Somermeyer, 42, of Chicago was held at St. Peter's Evangelical church here with the Rev. Ervin Florin, pastor, officiating. He died at his home in Chicago following a heart attack. Burial was in the New Albin Cemetery.

The pallbearers were six nephews: Harry, Clifton, Milton, Orval, Justine, and Karl Somermeyer.

Dr. Somermeyer was born in Houston County, Minnesota on Nov. 25, 1896, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Somermeyer. He attended the dental college at Northwestern University and following his graduation there in 1927, he practiced his profession in Chicago. He was married to Miss Mae Soutar in May, 1921.

Survivors include his widow; four brothers, William of Lake Villa, Wis., Albert of New Albin, and Harry and Dr. Edward Somermeyer, both of St. Paul.
