Services For Leonard Dee

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 28, 1981 at 1:30 p.m. in Grace United Methodist Church, New Albin, for Leonard L. Dee. Mr. Dee died Saturday, July 25, at the age of 89, in Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse. The Rev. Thomas Mattson officiated and burial was in Mays Prairie Cemetery.

Mr. Dee was born June 24,1892, to Charles and Emma(Feuerhelm) Dee in rural Lansing. On Feb. 26, 1919, he married Gladys Wendel in Mason City. He was educated in the rural schools in the area, was a farmer, a member of the Farm Bureau, cemetery trustee, church secretary, and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in New Albin.

Survivors include his wife; daughters Mrs. Lawrence (Arlene) Reinke of Albia and Mrs.(Dorothy) Brightwell of Iowa Falls; a son, Donald,
Lansing; seven, grandchildren; five great grand-children. A son, Norbert, and brothers and sisters Haddie, Agnes, Harry, Tresco and Clinton preceded him in death.
