Waukon, Ia. - Funeral services were held at St. Patrick's Church here Thursday afternoon for Edward Chambers, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Allison Chambers, who died at the family home in the morning. The Rev. Joseph Krocheski, assistant pastor, was in charge and burial was in St. John the Baptist Cemetery beside a sister who died last year. Besides his parents, survivors include a brother, Frederick.

~Note: St. Patrick's Catholic church death records on the Allamakee co. IAGenWeb site record this infant as William Chambers (12/20/1938-01/03/1939) rather than Edward, the name given in the obituary. The DOD in church records is also in conflict with the obit by 2 days. The cemetery is commonly known as West Ridge cemetery. The 'Woodmansee' cemetery book does not record the burials of either the Chambers son or daughter.
