Waukon, Ia. - Funeral services for Roy Steele, 40, were held here Wednesday afternoon at Martin Bros. Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank E. Stucki, pastor of Zion Reformed Church, officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Mr. Steele died suddenly Monday afternoon at his farm home near Rossville of a heart attack, although he had been in failing health the past year.

He was born May 25, 1902 in Allamakee County and following his marriage to Laura Bauercamper, the home was made on a farm in this vicinity.

Surviving are his widow; a son, Richard at home; and his mother, Mrs. Jessie Johnson of Mapleton, Minn.
