Lansing - Everett "Fat" Mulholland, 77, died of natural causes Wednesday in Thornton Manor Nursing Home. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, where there will be a wake Scripture service at 7 p.m.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; five daughters, Mrs. Maynard (Cheri) Sandy of Ferryville, Wis., Mrs. Richard (Sandy) Gramlich of Prairie du Chien, Wis., Mrs. Bruce (Cathy) Bowers of Waterloo, Mary O'Malley of La Crosse, Wis., and Mrs. Mike (Becky) Bailey of Evansville, Wis.; four sons, Terry of Waukon, Steve and Dan, both of Lansing, and Jeff of North Carolina; 24 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond of New Albin, Jack of Prairie du Chien and Phillip of Cedar Rapids and a sister, Evelyn Colsh of Freeburg, Minn.
He was born Oct. 30, 1915, in Lansing, to Leonard and Ariel Inman Mulholland. He attended Lansing Public School. He worked at the Lansing Garage until he went into the Navy, serving in the South Pacific during World War II. After his discharge, he returned to work at the Lansing Garage until his retirement.
He married Barbara Whalen on June 19, 1945, in Lansing, by Monsignor Scharpoff.
