RANDALL, VISGER, DENNERT, SHERWOOD, OLSON

Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon for Frank Randall, whose death occurred Saturday morning, may 15, in the Lutheran hospital, La Crosse, where he had submitted to a major operation twelve days previous. The Rev. M. Nothdurft, pastor, officiated at the services and burial was made in the New Albin cemetery. Casket bearers were George May, Peter Whalen, Otto Luettchens, H.C. Dierksen, G.H. Welper and A.G. Meyer.

Deceased was born in New Albin February 18, 1876, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Randall, and lived in Jefferson township for many years, moving with his niece, Mrs. Clyde Visger and husband to New Albin in November, 1942. He received his education in the rural schools.

Mr. Randall never married. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. He was of a quiet, unassuming disposition and was well liked by all who knew him.

His parents, four sisters, Mrs. Carrie Sherwood, Mrs. Estella Dennert, [illegible] and Cora, and two brothers, Joel and Stephen, preceded him in death; also a half-sister, Mrs. Andrew Olson.
