Waukon, Ia. - Funeral services were held Thursday morning at St. Pius Catholic Church for Michael J. McNally, 85, lifelong resident of Allamakee County, with the Rev. Albert Nees, pastor, celebrating the requiem mass. Burial was in the family lot in the nearby cemetery.

Mr. McNally died Tuesday at his home in Big Foot in Linton Township following a lingering illness.

He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel McNally, early residents of Cherry Mound, where he was born.

Surviving are his widow, the former Rose Elliott; 10 children, Robert at home, Leonard of Chicago, Mrs. Con Regan of Prairie du Chien, Wis., Mrs. Ed Duffy of Waukon, Leo of Lansing, Vincent of Los Angeles, Calif, and Mrs. John Lloyd, Mrs. Selmer Hefner, and James and John, all of the Big Foot vicinity; and one brother, Frank of Waukon Junction.
