REGAN, STILWELL, ROFFMAN

Waukon, Ia. - A military funeral was held here Wednesday morning from the Pleumer and Hanson Funeral Home to St. Patrick's Church for Private Leo Regan, 22, who died Jan 2 at Ft. Riley, Kan., following a month's illness. The Rev. E.J. McDonald, pastor, celebrated the requiem mass and burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery at Lycurgus with the local Legion post in charge.

Private Regan, a graduate of the local schools, enlisted in the Army in 1938 and the past four years had been stationed at Ft. Riley.

Surviving are three brothers, Francis and Kenneth, both of Waukon, and James of Morrison; and two sisters, Mrs. John Stilwell of Altoona and Mrs. Otto Roffman of Postville. His father, James Regan, died in 1930 and his mother in 1937.
