Henry Fred Schultz, son of Joe Schultz and his wife Anna (nee Harnack), was born Aug. 10, 1886. in Fayette county, Iowa. October 10th the same year he received the holy rites of baptism. After instruction in the Lutheran doctrine he was confirmed March 31, 1901, in St. Paul's Lutheran church. September 28, 1910, he was married to Louise Linderbaum. To this union two children were born. After a residence of nine years in Waukon he moved with his family to a farm in Winneshiek county three years ago, where after a lingering illness of several years he passed away on Sunday, Nov, 12th, at 3:00 p.m. He leaves to mourn his loss his widow and two children, Robert aged 6 and Norman 9 months old; his parents and the following brothers and sisters: John of Farmersburg; Edwin of Waukon; Louis of Milwaukee, Wis.; Mrs. Edna Lent of Castalia; George, Albert, Fritz and Eldo, Postville; his fatherinlaw, Ludwig Linderbaum, and many other relatives and friends.

Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

At the time of his death he was aged 36 years, three months and two days.

The funeral was held from St. Paul's Lutheran church at 1:15 Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. E. Schmidt.
