HEFTY, WEIMERSLAGE, MACLACHLAN, THOMPSON, JURGENSEN

Lansing, Ia. - Mrs. Henry Hefty, 77, of Lansing, died in a LaCrosse, Wis., hospital Sunday after an illness of six weeks, and funeral services will be held at the home here Tuesday afternoon, with Albert Kunz, a student pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Henfty, the former Bendina Weimerslage, was born in Schalle, Germany, Sept. 24, 1868, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Weimerslage, and came to this country when she was 6. Except for a short time in Minneapolis, she had resided most of her life here. Her marriage to Henry Hefty occurred Oct. 25, 1894. She was a Lutheran.

The survivors are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. George MacLachlan, LaCrosse, and Clara, Elsie, and Emma, Lansing; two sons, Henry Hefty, Minneapolis, and Albert Hefty, Lansing; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Thompson, Lansing, and Mrs. Lena Jurgensen, St. Paul, Minn., and two brothers, Louis and George Weimerslage, both of Dorchester, Ia.
