Iowa Volksblatt of 8 June 1893, and re-printed in the "Postville 25 Years Ago" column of the Postville Herald of Friday, 7 June 1918.

Louis Peterson, an old settler of Jefferson township, was fatally injured last week when a young span of horses he was driving became frightened and ran away.
