Postville Review, Saturday, 5 March 1881.

DIED- In Hardin, Iowa, Feb. 23rd, 1881, of bronchial consumption, Belle, youngest daughter of Wm. and Elizabeth Roberts, aged twenty years and one month.

The funeral service was held at the M.E, church, and was largely attended by friends, who gathered to pay the last tribute of respect to the memory of one whose life was so lovely, yet so brief. Rev. L. B. (Hicks ?) of Castalia preached a very able and appropriate sermon from Isiah, (?) chapter, a part of the sixth verse: "We all do fade as a leaf." At the close the remains were taken to the Luana cemetery for interment.

( There followed a poem titled "Never Again", much of which was not readable.)
