Thomas F. Dunlevy, 85, last of the Dunlevy brothers who for 60 years published the Allamakee Journal at Waukon and Lansing, passed away last Friday night at his home in Waukon and funeral services were held Sunday with the Rev. H.C. Culver, Methodist minister, in charge.
Born in Illinois in 1856, Mr. Dunlevy had lived in this county for 77 years and since 1882 in Waukon. He is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mabel, both of Waukon, and one sister in Chicago.
The Journal is now being published by Dick, Joe and Mark Dunlevy, nephews of the deceased.
