Annetta Bockover Pearson was born September 11, 1836, in Delaware county, Ohio, and died at Tulsa, Okla., March 28, 1914, aged 77 years, 6 months and 17 days. She was married to Richard M. Pearson in 1858, and to this union was born one son and four daughters. The four daughters left to mourn are Mrs. R. M. Cross of Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. H. D. Brown of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. J. A. Bushfield of Miller, S.D., and Miss Tina Pearson of Tulsa, Okla.

She was a lifelong Christian and church member. For eight years her body has been racked with pain, rheumatism having claimed her as a victim. Her fatal illness lasted twelve weeks and her suffering was intense, but borne always with a sweet patience and faith in her God. For years she was a resident of this community, having left about six years ago this month with her youngest daughter, Miss Tina, for a change of climate. But amid all the changes, forming of new friendships, etc., she remained loyal to the old home and friends, living a great share of the time with thoughts on the past. A grand life is finished, gone to a great reward.

The remains reached here from Tulsa Tuesday of last week, and the same afternoon the funeral was held from the Methodist church in this city, Rev. W. H. Mellott officiating. Interment in the Postville cemetery.
