Funeral services for Thomas "Bill" Sullivan, 67, of 814 Randolph, Waterloo, were held at Sacred Heart Catholic church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. He died July 20, 1978 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

Thomas "Bill" Sullivan was born May 19, 1911 in Lansing, Iowa, the son of Joseph and Catherine (Manning) Sullivan. He was married to Agnes Berns on Oct. 16, 1941 in Monona. He owned and operated Black Hawk Heating Co. in Waterloo for 25 years, retiring in 1973.

Survivors include his wife; 4 sons: Paul of Bismark, Ark., John of Exeland, Wis., Robert of Onalaska, Wis., and David at home; 4 daughters: Mrs. Diane Gordon of Cedar Rapids, Sally Sullivan of Davenport, Mrs. Mary Boutott of 114 Helen Road, Waterloo, and Elizabeth Sullivan of Iowa City; 5 grandchildren; 4 brothers: Joseph of 616 Dawson, Waterloo, Earl of 2420 Garden Ave., Cedar Falls, Harry of Los Angeles, Calif., and Leo of Tampa, Fla.: 5 sisters: Mrs. Mary Ryan and Mrs. Kay Gruber of Monona, Sr. Mary Honora Sullivan, PBVM of Farley, Mrs. Rita Craker of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Marge Williams of Manteca, Calif.
