Allen M. Lankford, 16, son of Albert Lankford of Lansing, was killed about 12:30 a.m. Saturday in a one-car crash on a county road about a mile west of here.

A passener in his car, Alice J. Walleser, 16, daughter of Stanley Walleser of Lansing, was listed in serious condition at the Waukon hospital today with chest injuries. Another passenger, Daniel Sieverson, 17, son of the Harold Sieversons of Lansing, was treated for cuts and bruises and released.

Authorities said Lankford apparently lost control of the car on a slight curve and it plunged off the road.

"services for the Lankford boy will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian church in Lansing. The body is at the Burke funeral home."
