Postville Review, Sat., 26 June 1880.

DIED- Chapin - of cancer, at residence of her son, R. C. Graham, two miles northwest of Postville, Iowa, Mrs. C. Chapin, aged 80 years.

Mother Chapin was converted when quite young, lived a consistent Christian, and died in the triumph of faith, in the promises of the Gospel now lies calmly waiting the resurrection of the just.

Note. Woodmansee burial book lists: Chapin, Catherine 4-15-1800 / 6-19-1880 in Postville cemetery, area of cemetery unknown. Death age matches and death date and papers date are close.
