The Lansing Mirror states that a young German by the name of Joseph Hirt was almost instantly killed at Bellow's Mills, on the Upper Iowa River, on the 20th inst. He was at work in the mill, and went below to examine some of the machinery, was caught between the cogs of two wheels and almost cut in too, in the middle.

We learn from the Lansing Mirror that a German, while oiling the machinery in Bellow's Mills, two weeks ago last Saturday, was drawn into the wheel, and was immediately smashed to death.
