LITTLE CATHERINE WILLIAMS DEAD.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Williams, south of town, have the heartfelt sympathy of all our people in the loss of their little daughter, Catherine, whose death occurred about 1:30 o'clock Thursday morning of Scarlet fever. Little Catherine was an unusually bright and pretty child, who came to gladden their home just two years ago last July, and her taking off brings a sorrow to their hearts no earthly power can assuage. And on yesterday afternoon the little one was tenderly laid away in the family burial plot on the home farm, without ceremony.

Three others of the same family are also sick of scarlet fever, but are making reasonably good progress toward recovery. Mrs. E. H. Williams is also slightly improved.
