Bob Bertelson

Funeral services for Bob Bertelson, 72, of Humboldt, SD were held Monday, November 30 at the Lutheran Church in Humboldt, SD at 10:30 a.m. A prayer service was held Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m.

Bertelson died Thursday evening at his home in Humboldt.

Survivors include his wife, the former Florence Patzloff; one daughter, Pam of Sioux Falls; 3 sons, Gary of Houston, TX, Keith of Sioux Falls and Craig of Minneapolis, MN; 3 grandchildren; one sister, Neva (Leon) Olson of Postville; his step-mother, Myrtle Bertelson and a step-brother, Bob Burns, both of Postville.

Attending the funeral from Postville were Mr. and Mrs. Leon Olson.

Postville, Iowa newspaper of the time clipping, hand dated 1987, from Dorothy Schave's obituary collection.

Submitter note: Bob's parents were Minnie Marian (Gunn) and Albert Bertelson, who are buried in the Postville Cemetery.
