Wilbur C. Dresser was born at Postville, Iowa, March 27, 1866, and passed away March 1, 1927, near Emmett. He spent the greater part of his alotted time at or near the place of his birth and the remainder, about seven years, near Emmett. He leaves to mourn his depature a wife, two daghters, a sister, one brother and one grandson. Those having preceded him are a wife, two brothers and both parents. On Sept. 27, 1892, he was united in marriage to Anna Pinike. To this union one daughter, Alma, now Mrs. Frank Carter, of Spokane, was born, April 4, 1894, the mother passing on a few days later. On Dec. 1907, he was united in marriage to Martha T. McMartin. To this union one daughter, Marion, was born. He was a member of the Masonic, Oddfellows, Modern Woodmen and Eastern Star lodges. In middle life he united with the Methodist church of Postville, Iowa, later transferring to the church of the same denomination in Emmett. He was straight forward and upright in business, a consistent christian and an obliging and thoughtful neighbor.-- Emmett (Idaho) Index.
