Rosie Kline (nee Kieser) was born March 3, 1842, in Wutemberg, Germany, and departed this life at Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, February 26, 1927. If her life had been prolonged four days she would have been 85 years old. She came to this country in the year 1875, and two years later was married to John Kline. They made their home at Postville, Iowa, where she lived until 1906. Since that time she has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Turbitt of this city, who provided and cared for her until her death.
Her husband, an adopted daughter, four brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. There remain to mourn her departure, one neice, Minnie Turbitt of Prairie du Chien, three nephews, Louis and Will Schmidt and Emil L. Kieser of Chicago, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 1, frome the home of Mr. and Mrs. Turbitt. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery, Rev. W. R. Maechtle officiating.-- Prairie du Chien Courier.
