Funeral services were held last Saturday for Mrs. Sherman Webster, who passed away at her home northwest of Waukon last Thursday morning. The Rev. Wm. Suckow of the United Brethren church of Postville officiated and burial was made in Evergreen cemetery in Post township.

As Margaret Vickery she was born the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Vickery in Ludlow township on November 19, 1870. She was married to Sherman Webster December 24, 1888, and six children were born to them, of whom four are living, namely Alfred Webster, Waukon; Wilmer Webster, Caledonia, Minn.; Archie Webster, Postville, and Clarence Webster, Waukon. Two sons, Vernie and Harry, passed away some time ago.

Mrs. Webster is also survived by her husband and three brothers, Frank, Willard and Martin Vickery of Waukon, and one sister, Mrs. Edna Dreier of Prairie du Chien, Wis. Four brothers and three sisters passed away previously. Also surviving are ten grandchildren.
