Frank Paus, 88, died Saturday morning
at Calodonia Community Hospital
after a brief illness.
He was born Sept. 13, 1885 at
Dorchester, Iowa, the son of Louis
and Sophia Meiners Paus.
He married Emma Deters Oct. 16, 1916
at Eitzen. He was the village blacksmith
until his retirement three years ago. Mrs.
Paus died in 1967.
Surviving are three sons, Milton and
Howard, Eitzen and Glen, Minneapolis;
four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren;
one brother,Walter, New albin, Iowa and a sister,
Mrs. Lucy Weber, Eitzen.
A brother and two sisters are dead
Funeral services will be tuesday at 2 p.m.
at St. Luke United Church of Christ here, the
Rev. Lloyd Fried officiating. Burial will be in
the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Potter-Haugen Funeral Home,
Caledonia, Monday afternoon and evening and
from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church Tuesday.
