Preston, Minn. (Special)Mrs. Ole K. Olson,74, former Fillmore county resident, died monday of cancer at Olmsted Community hospital, Rochester, where she had been a patient 10 days. She was ill three years.
The former Hanna T. Lingaas was born April 20, 1890, near Postville, Iowa. She was married Sept. 14, 1937, at Albert Lea. They lived in various towns in Iowa, in the Canton, Mabel and Harmony areas, at Wykoff, and since last fall at Rochester.
Survivors are: Her huband; two brothers, Julius, Ferus Falls, and Eric, Reserve, Mont., and three sisters, Mrs. Cester Barth, Decorah, Iowa; Mrs. Carl Bjerland, Thief River Falls, and Mrs. Carl Erickson, Mahtowa, Minn.
The funeral will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Wykoff, the Rev. A.H. Backman offiating, assisted by the Rev. John D Serkland of Bethel Lutheran Church, Rochester. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Elden Fetterly, Lenard Jeche, Louis Schmidt, Louvern Krumdieck, Kenneth Shipton and Donald Schultz, Wykoff
Friends may call at the Anderson-Thauwald Funeral Home in Wykoff from 4 p.m. Thursday untill 11:30 a.m. Friday, and at the church after 12:30 p.m.
