EARL MOSIER

Nora Springs – Earl Mosier, 73, died Tuesday, at Orlando, Florida. The body is being brought back to Nora Springs, his former home, for burial.

Rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, in the Sheckler Funeral Home. The Rev. Amedee Fredette, pastor of the St. Luke Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.

Born at Rossville, Iowa, June 30, 1889, he was married to Esther Gast at Rossville June 20, 1917. In 1921 they moved to Floyd County and had lived in the Nora Springs community until Mrs. Mosier’s death October 19, 1959.
Mr. Mosier had spent most of his time in Florida the last three years.

He is survived by a niece, Mrs. Ray Scott, Waterloo. His only brother died at Waukon two or three years ago.
