Jason Brian Sommer, infant son of Jason and Dacia (Welsh) Sommer of Waukon, Iowa was stillborn at the Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa on Monday, April 28, 2003. Family graveside services were held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Waukon, Iowa.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Betty Welsh of Lansing, Iowa, paternal grandparents, Jerry and Judy Sommer of Waukon, Iowa, paternal great-grandmother Evalena Sommer of Waukon, Iowa and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
