Obituary
Henry Jenkins was born at Morganstown, West Virginia, and died at the home of his son, Lewis, near Volney, Allamakee county, Iowa, Dec. 6, 1913, at 12:50 o'clock at the age of 81 years and 22 days. He came to Iowa in 1854, and settled in Allamakee county. On the 10th day of September, 1865, he was united in marriage with Miss Emma Baker of Clayton county, Iowa. To this union were born eleven children. There are left to mourn his death a wife and seven children. They are Elsworth, Lewis, Amos, Mrs. R. R. Flack, Mrs. Geo. Wilkins, Lillian and May Dell, four children having proceeded him to the grave.
