Floyd Clark's Last Rites Held Sunday
Floyd Clark, prominent Allamakee county resident, long active in farm circles, died Thursday afternoon, March 8, at the Waukon hospital. His funeral was held Sunday, March 11, from St. Paul's Methodist church, Waukon, of which he was a member. The Rev. Ray Orr officiated. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
Life-long resident of Allamakee county, Clark was born January 11, 1884 in Franklin township, son of George and Alice (Farnham) Clark. He was married February 20, 1912 to Alice Winters, who remains.
Their children are Roberta, now Mrs. Harold McShane of Waukon; Keith Clark of Waukon, Dora, now Mrs. Everett Bollman of Postville; Mary, now Mrs. Verdon Swenson of Postville, and Lloyd Clark at home. There are 16 grandchildren. A sister and brother also remain. They are Mrs. William Lundberg of Santa Monica, California and Gordon Clark of Freeport, Illinois.
