Funeral services for Kermit M. Noth, age 76, husband of former Lansing, Iowa resident, Maxine Piguet, were held Friday, June 22 at Evangelical Free Church in Pittsville, Wisconsin with the Rev. Kenneth Bergstedt and John Taylor conducting the 10:30 a.m. service. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Tomah, Wisconsin.

Kermit Noth, son of Adolph and Esther (Novatny) Noth, was born June 8, 1914 in Unity, Wisconsin. He attended schools in Riplinger and Unity. He graduated from Stratford, Wisconsin High School. He married Maxine E. Piguet of Lansing, Iowa on August 24, 1937. Kermit farmed for 15 years near Stratford, Wisconsin before becoming an employee of Rollohome Corporation in Marshfield, Wisconsin and Har-Mac Home in Stratford. In 1962 he moved to Richfield. He was a member of the Evangelical Free Church.

He was preceded in death by an infant son.
Kermit is survived by his wife, Maxine; 3 daughters, Violet Ann (Dayton) Schwartz, Jr. of Fresno, California, Sharon Noth of Walworth, Wisconsin, and Dawn Garland of Vesper, Wisconsin; a son, Marvin Noth of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

NOTE: Maxine (Piguet) Noth, was the daughter of Harrison and Ann E. (Young) Piguet who had lived in Allamakee County in the English Bench area. Other Allamakee County people who were related to Maxine were the Bulman, Monserud, Leppert, Ebner, and Shefelbine families.
