Funeral services for Adeline Schuttemeier, wife of former New Albin, Iowa resident, were held Monday, February 12 at Berkely Park Chapel with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. Adeline, daughter of Stellemine Rosa of Denver,Colorado, was born July 30, 1917. On October 22, 1966 she married Martin Schuttemeier in Denver, Colorado. She operated a children's care center for many years.

Adeline died Thursday, February 8, 1990 at Columbine Manor Nursing Hone in Denver, Colorado. She had been a resident for two years and one month in the Alzheimer's Unit. She was preceded in death by two brothers, 3 sisters, and a step-son, Arlan Schuttemeier.

She is survived by her husband, Martin; a son Andrew Serfoza of Littleton, Colorado, 2 daughters, Marlene Troudt of Denver, Colorado, and Kathleen Serfoza of Bailey, Colorado; 1 brother, Gerald Rosa; 5 sisters, Alice Schuller and Delores Zuhike, both of San Diego, California, Vera Lombordi of Denver, Colorado, Violet Brown of Littleton, Colorado, and Charline Cain of Lakewood, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.

NOTE: Otto and Frieda (Hinrichs) Schuttemeier were the parents of Martin Schuttemeier. The Breezer, and Zezulka Families around New Albin,, Iowa were also relatives to Martin Schuttemeier.
