Graveside services for Myrtle Zoe Webster were held at the Evergreen * also called the Cleveland * Cemetery, rural Postville, Iowa. Verdon Swenson, Pastor of the Forest Mills United Methodist Church conducted the services. The Schutte Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.

Myrtle Zoe, daughter of George and Miner (Kirby) Van Wey, was born April 14, 1900 in Frankville, Iowa. She attended the Frankville School and the Decorah High School. She married Charles Webster on August 12, 1919 at Waukon, Iowa. They farmed near the Forest Mills in Allamakee County for many years. After the death of her husband in 1956, she moved to Montour, Iowa where she lived for 12 years * See Note below* She had been a member of the United Methodist Church.

Myrtle Zoe Webster died November 24, 1989 at her home in Montour, Iowa. In addition to her husband Charles, she is preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, 6 brothers, Ralph Van Wey and Leslie Van Wey, who died in infancy and Walter Van Wey, Carl Van Wey, Irvin Van Wey, and Earl Van Wey; and 3 sisters, Rosa Mae Cunningham, Jessie Rossalew, and A. Maud Myren.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Ewing of Montour, Iowa; a grandson, Donald Ewing of Lansing, Iowa; 2 granddaughters, Denise Ribby of Montour, Iowa, and Dixie Potter of Tama, Iowa; 9 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Daisy Hendershot of Hamden, Connecticut.

NOTE: The addition does not quite add up if she moved to Montour around 1956. Since she died in Montour in 1989, she would have lived in Montour for more than 12 years. Perhaps it should have been 32 years that she lived in Montour.
