Kenneth F. "Booby" Boots, Jr.

Kenneth “Booby” Boots, 47, of Harpers Ferry died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at St. Francis Mayo Hospital in La Crosse, WI from a brain hemorrhage. Hanson Funeral Home of Waukon is in charge of arrangements. A celebration of life was held Saturday, June 25 at Bucks N Bulls in Harpers Ferry. There will be a private family interment.
Booby was born April 27, 1964 in Dubuque, the son of Kenneth F. Sr. and Carmelita Boots. Booby was an avid outdoorsman. He was a loving son, brother, father and loyal friend to many.
He is survived by his children, Brent Boots of St. Claire, MN, Nick Boots of Springlake Park, MN, Whitney Boots of Monona and her mother, Linda Landt, and daughters, Jessica (Jason) Schubert, Jill Puckett and Sarah (Sean) Strong.
Booby is also survived by his siblings, Judy Barnhardt of Dubuque, James (Richard) Kinny-Giglio of Boston, MA, Cindy Humphrey of Ronan, MT, Patty (Jim) Hamilton of Wichita, KS, Micheal Boots of Minneapolis, MN, Thomas (April) Boots of Harpers Ferry, Robert Boots of Wichita, KS, Sherri (Al) Scmackle of Sussex, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Sr. and Carmelita Boots; and his brothers, Gerald Kinny and Andy Boots.
