Lloyd "Mike" Harris

Cedar Rapids -- Lloyd "Mike" Harris, 67, of 1429 Seventh Avenue S. E., Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, January 10, after a short illness. Born in Postville, May 6, 1900, he had resided in Cedar Rapids since 1926. He had been employed as a foreman at Penick and Ford Co. until his retirement in 1963. He was married to Euphemia Stevens December 7, 1927, in Nevada, Iowa. He attended the Cedar Christian Church and was a 50 year member of the IOOF lodge at Postville.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Mrs. Earl Chamberlain, Cedar Rapids; two sons, Boyd of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Bruce A. of Augusta, Georgia; ten grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert R. Harris of Bethesda, Maryland and Roger M. Harris of Postville.

Funeral services were held Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at the Kuba funeral home by the Rev. Barton G. Murray of the Cedar Christian Church. Burial was in Cedar Memorial.
