Funeral services for Roger Stuckman were held Monday, November 19 at 1:30 p.m. in Salem United Church of Christ, rural Waukon, Iowa. Rev. Elsa Marsland officiated. Interment was in the Postville Cemetery. Schutte Funeral Service of Postville, Iowa was in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Richard Stuckman, Darrell Winkie, Ronald Winkie, Randy Buddenberg, Robert Wedo, and Louis Wedo.

Roger Roland Stuckman was the son of George Arthur and Alta Mae (Winke) Stuckman. He was born March 24, 1924 in Ludlow Township, Allamakee County, Iowa. He was baptized on April 27, 1924 at the Salem United Church of Christ and confirmed there in 1938 by Rev. DeBuhr. He attended Ludlow School No. 5 and was graduated from the Waukon High School. He also attended a school for aviation mechanics at Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was employed as a mechanic for various construction companies in this area, including Holland Brothers. He had also been employed by the city of Postville for a few years.

Roger died Friday morning, November 16, 1990 in the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his friend, Margaret Wedo of Postville, Iowa; 1 brother Harlan (Joyce) Stuckman and 1 sister, Darlene (Norman) Dickman, all of Decorah, Iowa and 3 nieces.
