Cecelia Mitchell, age 84, of Waukon, Iowa, passed away October 3, 1999 at Northgate Care Center, Waukon, Iowa. Msgr. Ed Lechtenberg held service October 6 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Waukon, Iowa with burial in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Waukon, Iowa. Casketbearers were Gene Stockman, Harry Lamphier, Rupert Caballero, Dave Stangeland, Wayne Burk, and Mark Pettera. Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Cecelia was born May 18, 1915 in Waukon, Iowa to Edward and Elizabeth (McNally) Duffy. She attended Waukon High School, and was a resident of Waterville, Iowa, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Waukon.

Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents, a son Francis Wagner, and a brother Harold Duffy.

Survivors include a sister, Florence Stockman of Decorah, Iowa and sister-in-law Veronica Duffy of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.

Note of the transcriber: At one time she was married to Frank Wagner. However, the obituary does not mention a marriage to a Mitchell.
