Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 27 for Thomas Kolsrud who died December 21, 1989 at the Fairfield Convalescent Hospital in Fairfield, California. The Rev. Erhard Bekemeyer conducted the services at Bethany Lutheran Church in Vacaville, California.

Thomas was born January 21, 1904 in Waterville, Iowa to Gilbert and Inger (Hermanson) Kolsrud. On December 26, 1926 he married Nora Hasset. He moved to Canton, South Dakota at an early age and lived there until 1942 when he moved to California to work in the shipyards. He was employed by the Berkeley Coop from 1945 until 1969 when he retired. They moved to Leisure Town in Vacaville in 1973. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and Leisure Town Men's Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Nora, who resides at Fairfield Convalescent Hospital, and two nephews, Arden Kolsrud of Modesto, California and Selmer Kolsrud, Jr. of Penn Valley, California.
