Funeral services were held Friday, November 26 for Luella Haas, age 80, who died Tuesday, November 24, 1987 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa. Father Larry Duenas officiated at the 10:30 a.m. services held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waukon, Iowa. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Waukon. Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Paul, James, Keith, and Kenneth Fahey, James Danaher and Eugene Gander.

Luella was born July 7, 1907 in Waukon, Iowa to Joseph and Kathryn (Cunningham) Fahey. She attended local schools and married Clarence Haas at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waukon. He passed away on September 6, 1975.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Robert Haas and William Haas; 5 brothers, John Fahey, Joseph Fahey, James Fahey, Emmett Fahey, and Leo Fahey; and 3 sisters, Mrs. William (Sadie) Schwartzhoff, Mrs. Thomas (Florence) O'Malley, and Mrs. Francis (Mary) Zoll.

Surviving her are a daughter Ann Haas of Chicago, Illinois, and a sister, Mrs. Alvin (Stella) Johnson of Decorah, Iowa.
