Elizabeth A. Henderson, age 93, died Wednesday November 19, 1986 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 22 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Larry Olson officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery with Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Wayne McCracken, Leonard and LaVerne Geno, Donald McShane, Dale Robey, and Harvey Powell.

Elizabeth was born July 30, 1893 in Allamakee County, Iowa to Albert and Elizabeth (Roderick) McShane. She attended local schools. She married Cullen Henderson on February 21, 1917 in Allamakee County, Iowa. He died February 9, 1960. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Presbyterian church and several church groups.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cullen; 4 brothers, Irvin McShane, George McShane, Henry McShane, and Glen McShane; and 4 sisters, Sophia Colvin, Fannie McCracken, Mary Geno, and Lottie McShane, who died at the age of 4.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Melva) Dickson of Postville, Iowa; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
