Last Rites for Mrs. Burroughs

A mass of requiem was said Saturday, July 25 in St. Patrick's church in Waukon for Mrs. David Burroughs of Waukon. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Frederic Heles was the officiating priest and burial was in Mount Olivet cemetery.

James, Ernest and Eugene Burroughs, Richard Helgeson, David and Gary Radloff were pallbearers.

Anna Mary Moller was born April 20, 1885 in Pipestone county, Minnesota, and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Moller. Nov. 5, 1901 she married David Burroughs in Dorchester.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Mary) Helgeson, Decorah; Mrs. Walter (Florence) Radloff, Dubuque; Mrs. Gerald (Della) Just, Clarksfield, Minn., and Mrs. James (Anna Mae) Waters, Caledonia, Minn., and six sons, Richard, East Dubuque; Jerome, Dubuque; Alfred and Roland, Waukon; Garland, Lansing, and Delbert of Bloomington, Ill. Thirty grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Anna Thorpe of Northgate Manor in Waukon also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, Sam, Johnny and John Moller, and three sisters, Mrs. William Beardmore, Mrs. Bob Protsman and Mettie Moller.

Mrs. Burroughs died Thursday, July 23 at Laffan nursing home in Waukon. She was a member of St. Patrick's church. Bakke and Hanson was in charge of arrangements.
