Following a protracted period of failing health, County Supervisor J.J. Houlihan passed away at Mercy hospital, Dubuque, last Sunday afternoon. He was born in Canada sixty-four years ago and had resided in Harpers Ferry for a number of years. The body was shipped to Harpers Ferry, where funeral services were held on Wednesday. He is survived by his widow, a son and a daughter.
