Leonard Froning, 33, a former Postville resident, was killed Friday night when the cattle truck he was driving to Chicago capsized near St. Charles, Ill., after the battery had dropped out of the vehicle.

His wife, the former Florence Mohs of this city, and five children survive. The family lives at Readlyn.

Funeral services are being held today at Sheffield, Froning's former home. Going from here to attend were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Mohs, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Suckow, Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Schultz, Mrs. Annie Mohs, Mrs. John Sebastian, Mrs. Alvin Monroe, Mrs. Fred J. Heins and Mrs. Joe Harnack.
